Project 1: Cherry Blossom Container

Lesson 1


  • 5 Sakura papers or any decorative sheets (9" or 23cm squares)
  • Washi tape
  • Clips
  • Scissors
  • Cutting mat and craft knife (for cutting papers in appropriate sizes) (optional)
  • Acrylic paint of your favorite color and a brush (for painting your clips if necessary) (optional)



Project 2: Cherry Blossom Gift Box

Lesson 2


  • 1 sheet of 13" or 33cm square paper (lid of the large box)
  • 1 sheet of 12.5" or 32cm square paper (bottom of the large box)
  • 4 sheets of 6" or 15.5cm square papers (small inner boxes)
  • 1 sheet of 3" or 8cm square paper (for creating a cherry blossom paper flower)
  • 1 sheet of 1" or 2.5cm square paper (for placing on the back of the lid)
  • A bead with one hole
  • Hemp cord or any thread
  • Ruler
  • Pen
  • Scissors
  • Needle or any sharp tool (for creating tiny holes to put through the hemp cord)
  • Cutting mat and craft knife (for cutting papers in appropriate sizes) (optional)



Project 3: Cherry Blossom Triangle Favor Bag

Lesson 3


  • Wrapping paper 8.5" or 21.5cm x 5.5" or 14cm (for creating a triangle bag. Prepare as many bags as you need to make)
  • 3" or 8cm square paper (for creating a cherry blossom paper flower. Prepare the same number as your main paper to make bags)
  • Paper Doilies (4" or 10cm diameter doilies or smaller are suggested for this tutorial)
  • Ribbon
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Pen
  • Ruler
  • Cutting mat and craft knife (for cutting papers in appropriate sizes) (optional)
